Barra Mania is a local business owned and operated by Stuart and Rosemary Braid.
Stuart has been barramundi fishing in the Northern Territory for many years now and decided to start his fishing charter business after endless suggestions from friends that he takes them fishing.
Every time I came home from a fishing trip all of my friends would ask “when are you going to take me fishing with you?”.
I gave this some thought and decided to start up “Barra Mania” fully guided barramundi fishing tours to the Northern Territory. I had finally found what I wanted to do in life.
If you talk with any fisherman they will all tell you that one of their dreams is to go barramundi fishing in the Northern Territory. I certainly know that it was one of mine.
These tours are designed to take away all the hassle of organising a great fishing holiday in the remote Northern Territory. We organise everything including flights, ground transport, meals, accommodation and of course fishing. I found that this approach allows people to have a completely relaxed fishing holiday without having to worry about organising anything.
Not only is there great Barramundi fishing, these tours also give people a real Northern Territory experience. The wildlife is incredible and includes buffalo, crocodiles, wild pigs, birds and more.
I have had people from expert fishermen to those who have never held a fishing rod before in their life and everyone has enjoyed the experience just as much.
